Hello! I am the Project Lead The Way Launch Lead Teacher at Pittsfield Elementary School and Allen Elementary School. I am so excited to be part of Ann Arbor Public Schools, the first district in the state to have Project Lead The Way in every building!
In 1996, I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Eastern Michigan University. Because of my passion for educating children, I went back to Eastern Michigan University to earn a Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate in Visual Arts Education in 2012. Currently, I am working on a Master's in Educational Technology at Michigan State University.
I began teaching in 2012 as an art teacher in a school that focuses on project-based learning. I have been part of the Ann Arbor PLTW team since 2016, and in this role, I am able to use my technology knowledge and project-making skills, along with my passion for teaching STEM and STEAM-related skills to students.
